White crystal, slightly soluble in cold water, soluble in hot water, solubility 6.5g/100ml (80 ℃), 19g / 100ml (100 ℃). Toxic. Melting point: 840 ℃.
Applications
It is used for manufacturing zirconium, zirconium compound, ferroalloy, magnesium aluminum alloy, steel and non-ferrous metal alloy, as well as atomic energy industry and production of advanced electrical materials, refractories, electric vacuum technical materials, fireworks, ceramics, enamel and glass.
