Application
Lithium bis(oxalate)borate can be used as a electrolyte salt or additive for lithium ion batteries. It is a heat-stable chelated boron salt.Unlike conventional fluorine-containing conductive salts (such as lithium hexafluorophosphate or lithium tetrafluoroborate), lithium bis(oxalate)borate is a multi-functional electrolyte component that does not produce gases and toxic substances during application process.
LiPF6 is currently the most commonly used in lithium ion battery electrolyte. Its performance has a close relationship with the battery charging, discharging performance and its capacity.
